I’m Mark Cornellison.
I'm the husband to a wonderful wife. I'm the father to two great sons, but who can be stinkers at times, just look at their portraits below for proof. And we have two dogs roaming our home and property—a red nosed ridgeback and a German short hair pointer.
I like to photograph faces. Young faces. Old faces. Mid-life faces. All sorts of faces.
The driving goal of all my portraits is to capture people as they are. Kids being goofy, kids being contemplative, kids be mischievous, a friendly realtor, an intense athletic trainer, and so on. They’re all fascinating to me.
And since our faces can communicate all of the emotion humans experience, I love focusing on just the faces of my subjects.
